7 months {Lincoln}

This little man continues to keep us on our toes at night. :)

We still haven't figured out why he doesn't sleep well, but we are pressing on each day with little sleep. We are also thankful that this issue is minor in comparison to real "issues" other families face. Not complaining one bit. He just loves to snuggle in the middle of the night. Several times a night. :)

In other news, he is so smiley. All the time. Well, during the day that is :) We've had many people ask if he ever gets upset because they only see his big smile.

It's getting colder these days and he is enjoying his socks in his mouth more than on his feet.

We've started him on cereal and he has also had some avocado and pumpkin. He seems to enjoy eating food so far.

Not a whole lot has changed in the past month. He still rolls around, enjoys the exersaucer, and putting anything/everything in his mouth. He still loves my hair and will search for it while I'm holding him. A trick we found to be helpful is to put his blanket with a fringed edge in his hands when we lay him down to sleep. It's similar to my hair and he seems to look for it when he goes to bed.

He's starting to get antsy when we hold him like he wants to be able to reach everything. Several times he has nearly leaped out of my arms just to get a hold of something he sees on the counter! But of course if we put him on the ground he gets frustrated that he can't crawl to get what he wants down there either :) Ah, the life of a 7 month old.
