We had a pretty low-key weekend compared to the last 49 few.
AJ took Friday off so we had a fun day of running errands. Eating out is a real treat since we don't do it very often.
Ari couldn't keep himself from dancing to the music and Evangeline enjoyed watching him.
We had been planning on going to the zoo on Saturday for several weeks with our friends Rob and Carly. Unfortunately they got stuck in a parking garage downtown for 45 minutes because of traffic! We didn't think we were going to make it in either because the line to get in to the zoo was all the way past Victory Field! But I'm glad my husband pressed on because we got to see this reindeer. Plus I don't think it would have gone over well with Ari if we weren't able to go to the zoo. We had been talking about it all week.
Ari wasn't as impressed with the lights as we were, but it was still an enjoyable time together. (We missed you Rob and Carly!) Being out in the cold meant we had to come home to some eggnog and hot chocolate. Mmmm.
